I now offer Supervision having attained the COSCA's Counseling Supervision Certificate in 2014.
My intention is to provide mindfulness based supervision which will be gentle and compassionate similar to that which I experienced during my training and working in Core Process Psychotherapy. I think this will suite both psychotherapists and counselors. If you have an interest in mindfulness based work then I expect that I can support you with this.
I have a fairly extensive background in life sciences, medicine, sports and music and I feel confident that I can offer supervision which will meet the needs of many professions.
Early in 2014 I completed the COSCA's Counseling Supervision Certificate which has 15 SCQF credits at SCQF level 8. This was a course run at the Tom Allan Centre in Glasgow with trainers Anne Goldie and Lynne Campbell.
I pursue and study traditional Eastern practices, like mindfulness-awareness meditation, as well as Western approaches and I combine these in my Supervision Practice. I hope that I may offer a fresh approach for one to one supervision in Glasgow.
My particular interests include sleep, adult attachment issues, neuro-physiology and focusing in addition to awareness based therapeutic approaches and meditation.
